Here’s everything we know about the Rihanna shooting and the suspect
Rihanna (Robyn Rihanna Fenty) was recently targeted by a shooter who fire between 7-10 rounds into her home. A suspect has been arrested, though details remain ambiguous following an investigation. Here is what we know so far.
What We Know So Far
On March 8th, 2926, a woman driving a white Tesla fired multiple gunshots from an AR-15-style rifle into Rihanna’s mansion in the Beverly Hills area, Los Angeles. Projectiles made impact with the Umbrella singer’s property, penetrating a wall of her home with the artist still inside.
Fenty, who shares her home with rapper ASAP Rocky, was unharmed and remains unclear if the couple’s three children (RZA and Riot, daughter Rocki) were present.
The suspect, a female named Ivana Lisette Ortiz who is between 30 to 35 years of age, was arrested after she was tracked via helicopter to a parking lot in a Sherman Oaks shopping centre (approximately 8 miles away).
LAPD’s Robbery-Homicide Division haven’t yet disclosed a motive, but have recovered casing and a rifle from the suspect. Bail has been set at $10.225 million.
ASAP Rocky and Rihanna’s or their representatives have not yet commented on the situation.
