Rio 18, alongside Carwyn Ellis conceptualise an intriguing blend of musical flare for their new salsa song ‘Casa Loca.’ Their percussionist, Baldo Verdú, who is responsible for much of the instrumentals, puts in an incredible performance.
The title, translated as ‘mad house,’ is reflected in the ambient tempo of the group’s delivery. Full of playful percussion supported by blaring horns and funky strings, the group present a unique hyphen of music that is sure to have you wanting more.
The song is taken from their upcoming album ‘Radio Chevere,’ and is due for release on Légère Recordings in September.
