Swedish R&B star Snoh Aalegra captivates listeners with another enamouring performance on “I Love You”
New R&B arrives from Sweden’s Snoh Aalegra; her new track, “I Love You”, though self-explanatory, is an uplifting swish of blithe music and features Raphael Saadiq on bass and Nile Rodgers on guitar.
Buoyant Melody
After taking time out, the vocalist has returned with a fervent slide of classics to be. Taken from her upcoming and highly anticipated album, Legendary Love, Aalegra says: “I don’t think the greatest love stories are measured by how long they last. They’re measured by who they ask you to become.”
As usual, “I Love You” channels 1980s R&B patterns and can be likened to legends such as Sade — but it’s Snoh who makes this her own and continues to slice her way into the mainstream.
