While we could say this is influenced by 1990s hip-hop motifs, it stands on its own to mediate the senses into a mentally calm demeanour, thanks to notes of jazz-inspired music. “Bones” offers listeners dense replay value and a trove of beats and rhymes to vibe to while showcasing growth as an artist. With six albums under his belt, it seems Songer is prepped to once again blow up the scene.
