An Explosive Cast

If youโ€™ve watched the 1990s anime movie, youโ€™ll no doubt see a similarity between the two โ€” and the cast augments that.

Street Fighterโ€™s line up includes Andrew Koji as Ryu, Noah Centineo as Ken, 50 Cent (Balrog), Jason Mamoa (Blanka), and David Dastmalchian as M.Bison.

Other actors and actresses in the line-up include WWE wrestler Cody Rhodes as the US Army fighter Guile, Mel Jansen as Cammy, and Callina Liang, who takes on the role of Chun-Li.

The Plot

This time around, who am I kidding? Thereโ€™s no this time around; the film sees Chun-Li recruit Ryu and Ken for the โ€œWorld Warrior Tournamentโ€. However, on top of an already exhaustive process, they must face off against a hidden conspiracy involving their past and go toe-to-toe.

Production Details and Release Date

Street Fighter is directed by Japanese-American filmmaker Kitao Sakurai. The film is produced by Capcom, Legendary Pictures and will be distributed exclusively to theatres by Paramount Pictures. itโ€™s expected to hit cinemas on October 16th 2026.
