Braverman Defects: New Reform Party Member Gives a Speech for the Old

Opinion: Former Conservative party member Suella Braverman doubles down on her bigotry to announce she has joined Reform UK

Breaking news: The door is on the hinges. Suella Braverman has defected to Reform UK, claiming she has finally “come home”. What a sack of horse manure. This comes as no surprise, given her parliamentary background, Conservative politicians are nothing more than careerist, sycophants with an amygdala the size of a speck of dust.

Suella Braverman jumps ship to Nigel Farage’s Reform UK.

Today, she announced she is joining forces with Nigel Farage, a man who claims to be against the elite, despite being a millionaire, having access to the US presidency, is calling for the privatisation of our National Health Service, and wants to increase taxes. You can’t make it up; we have all officially shifted into a reality of idiocracy.

Why Tories Are Defecting to Reform

Why are Tories leaving in droves? Well, firstly, their ineffective party failed the country, and now, politicians like Braverman have the audacity to say:

“Britain is indeed broken. She is suffering. She is not well. Immigration is out of control. Our public services are on their knees. People don’t feel safe.”

She’s absolutely right. And why is that? Because the Eton-led parties are responsible for purposefully underfunding the NHS, the police, fire services, and, of course, instigating a referendum on leaving the European Union.

Nigel Farage’s defection list reads like a who’s who of opportunists.

All of the aforesaid have destroyed, and continue to destroy — Britain’s economy, fracturing communities, catalysing the rise of the far-right, empowering their malformed bird brains with only a whiff of emotional intelligence. That’s an insult to people who actually have it.

Hypocrisy and Opportunism

In her speech, Braverman, made a list of hate-filled claims that, once again, fail to address a stubborn elephant:

“Britain is indeed broken. She is suffering. She is not well. Immigration is out of control. Our public services are on their knees. People don’t feel safe.”

Once again, she’s correct; we don’t feel safe when Reform is on the horizon. Yes, Britain is sick, when it’s constantly undermined by vulgar actors whose only prerequisite for party politics is hate and vitriol.

“Our youngsters are leaving the country for better futures elsewhere. We can’t even defend ourselves, and our nation stands weak and humiliated on the world stage.”

She’s right; though the population is shrinking because of policies she supported under the leadership of a watered-down, slightly less bigoted version of Donald Trump in Boris Johnson, whose pontificating and saliva-splattering could start a pandemic of its own.

Instead of jumping ship to the one that sunk hers, she should change her name to Cowardman and wear her heart on her sleeve (that’s if she has one). Just come out and say it: your self-loathing, greedy, opportunist aspirations are sulphuric, with a twist of Thames Water toxicity.

Ironically, the snake oil salesman had the gall to say: “I’m calling time on Tory betrayal… and my party membership of 30 years is over.” That’s of course, until Reform fall flat on their face and the next fascist party arises. They’re truly a match made in heaven: Farage calls people of colour names, Suella loves the Rwanda scheme, Reform is a far-right driver of prejudice. You two should get married.
