Pop star Taylor Swift unveils new “Opalite” video exclusively on two platforms

Taylor Swift has released her new music video for Opalite, featuring a host of celebrities. However, fans aren’t happy, and neither is Sesame Street’s Elmo. Here’s how to watch it and more.

Opalite is the first music video since The Fate of Ophelia, and the release of her latest album The Life of a Showgirl. 

In the video, we see a host of names make cameos in visuals directed and shot by Swift herself. 

It opens with an infomercial for a fictional spray called ‘Opalite’, promising emotional and romantic fulfilment. Cillian Murphy appears as the product’s spokesperson in an ensemble cast.

Swift befriends a pet rock while Domhnall Gleeson forms a friendship with a cactus. British talk show host Graham Norton also makes a cameo, remaining in his talk show host element.

Fans have expressed their discontent as a minor inconvenience, with Elmo of Sesame Street even finding it hard to process.

Opalite is currently an exclusive release on Apple Music and Spotify. However, the music video will be available to watch on YouTube from the 8th February 2026.
