Vans release water repellent shoes for hikers, snowboarders and sneaker heads everywhere

Sneaker kings Vans have dropped a cold new release, the Sk8-Hi GORE-TEX Insulated Shoe, a stylish fit with hidden surprises.

With skin already in the snowboard game, Vans have long conquered the sport. But this time, their latest reveal sports multi-functional features.

Specifications and Fit

The latest drop from the sidewalk surfing brand incorporates all-terrain technology with comfort and functionality.

Not only does it look the part, but these shoes offer warmth and water repellent materials. This is all thanks to its GORE-TEX® uppers kitted out with an All-Trac outsole.

But wait, there’s more! Aiding your toes through the cold weather — especially those who seek extreme temperatures — is a Duratherm insulation layer designed to minimise heat escaping.

It’s safe to say that Vans have thought of everything — something buyers say are:

“Super comfortable and soft inside” and “have worn these in 70-80 degree weather and they have been comfortable both inwear and temperature regulation”.

The only downside to the release is that it does not ship in wide-fit sizes. So injury-prone hikers and boarding enthusiasts will likely have to skip this one.

The Sk8-Hi GORE-TEX can be purchased directly from the Vans web store.
