Marvel’s animation division reveals new trailer for the second season of X-Men ‘97 — set to release on Disney Plus
Marvel has revealed the official season two trailer for X-Men ‘97, and — according to executives — promises to be a “thrilling” ride. The trailer showcases another action packed sequence of mutant mayhem, as well as an intimidating adversary. Company executives told reporters they’re honouring the script written prior to show runner changes.

The trailer opens on a somber note, as Jubilee reflects on her time with Gambit, saying: “It’s hard to believe what’s not waitin’ for me… Someone I lost. Someone special.”
In the aftermath of season 1, the X-Men are scattered throughout time and come into contact with Apocalypse, whose reign begins in the ancient past. Some of our protagonists land in the distant future, where their nemesis continues to rule. The trailer is ends with Wolverine shouting: “We’re back baby!”
