Rock sensation beabadoobee announces latest album Pylon, tour, and new single “Sun Has Set”
British pop sensation beabadoobee (real name Beatrice Laus) has announced her fourth studio album, titled Pylon, which will be released on the 18th September 2026, via Dirty Hit/Interscope Records. The Filipino-born, London-raised singer-songwriter emerged in the late 2010s thanks to her unique bedroom-pop sound before exploding into an alternative rock artist, accruing more than 10 billion streams and 12 million social media followers. The album’s lead single, “Sun Has Set,” is out now.
The singer, known for her single, “Coffee” and its subsequent remix by Powfu, “Death Bed (Coffee for Your Head)“, became an international hit, paving the way for highly successful albums, including her No. 1 2024 project, This Is How Tomorrow Moves. Her next long-play has piqued the interest of fans, with beabadoobee describing it as grunge, Midwest emo, and 1990s radio-rock. This means we can likely expect a return to her roots, and potentially a new sound.

Pylon‘s lead single, “Sun Has Set,” is out now and features everything you’d expect from a beabadoobee; infectious rhyme patterns, riffing, and distorted guitars permeate the track, alongside her signature punchy chorus.

The song traverses feelings of unresolved conflict and the angst that drives the search for validation, closure, and answers. It definitely fits the mould of the 2000s era, but Laus coats it with a personality that makes it her own.

The album will feature a host of names from across the music world, including Hayley Williams (Paramore), Brendan Yates (Turnstile), Evan Stephens Hall (Pinegrove), Chino Moreno (Deftones), Shane Moran (Title Fight), with additional production on track 5, “Write Me A Letter,” Matty Healy and George Daniel of The 1975.
Tour
The album was announced alongside The Powerlines Tour, beginning in Connecticut on the 1 October 2026. It marks her first-ever major arena tour, with venues confirmed at Madison Square Garden (New York), The Kia Forum (Los Angeles), The O2 (London), AO Arena (Manchester), and the OVO Hydro in Glasgow.
Supporting acts include Wisp (North America and UK) and Violet Grohl for the France, Netherlands, Belgium, and Germany legs. Tickets go on presale from 29 June, with general sale beginning 2 July. Eligible Spotify Premium listeners can book tickets via ‘Reserved’.
