UK and Canadian rock groups team up for a star-studded collaboration
Style fluid rock band Don Broco return with their new single, Nightmare Tripping, taken from their forthcoming album of the same name. This time, they team up for their dream collaboration with Canadian rock group Nickelback.
Don Broco & Nickelback: “A Dream Come True” Collaboration
The track features a production switch-up, contrasting the styles of the two bands. In a press release, Don Broco shared the idea behind the song:
“‘Nightmare Tripping’ is the uncertainty between dreams and reality,” the group said. “When the paralysis demon holding you down forces you to confront what you’ve tried to escape by going to sleep, blurring the boundaries of consciousness.”
The Bedford-based outfit also shared that, “In total contrast to that terror, collaborating on the song with Nickelback was a dream come true.”
Nickelback tees up the British rock group Don Broco with a classic Chad Kroeger chorus, as well as the vocal exploits of Rob Damiani and Matt Donnelly, who also trace their talents throughout Nightmare Tripping.
