Nicholas Cage confronts past as Spider-Man in latest comic-style trailer
Last updated: 12th March 2026
Now this is exciting. Spider‑Man can benefit from a television series, but we can understand how precious Marvel and its associated studios are about it. So, Spider‑Noir? Nicolas Cage? I’m sold. The show is inspired by the comic of the same name.

In the trailer, we see Nicolas Cage embrace dramatic, comic‑style visuals. Known for his eccentric way of working, it appears to have paid off, as we witness creator Oren Uziel’s full artistic vision on display.
The Plot
Over eight episodes, Nic Cage will traverse an alternate noir‑styled 1930s New York City in a live-action Spider-Man story. The show is set during the Great Depression in an alternate universe known as Earth‑90214. In Spider-Noir, the “Face-Off” actor will play Ben Reilly, a down-on-his-luck private detective who is drawn back to his arachnid-powered roots.
Casting
While Nicholas Cage has been confirmed as the protagonist, we’re yet to find out who the full cast will play.
- Nicolas Cage (Ben Reilly / The Spider)
- Lamorne Morris (Robbie Robertson)
- Li Jun Li
- Karen Rodriguez
- Abraham Popoola
- Jack Huston
- Brendan Gleeson
Release Date
Spider-Noir will premiere exclusively on Prime Video from May 27 2026. However, for an early screening, you can subscribe to MGM+ to watch from the 25 May 2026.
