Unpatriotic far-right and extremist groups gathered in Dover to “stop the boats”

Page updated: 7 September 2026

Opinion: Black-clad thugs, not vigilantes, as The Guardian newspaper described them, have swarmed the port of Dover like minions — but in balaclavas, not denim dungarees. Having spread to Portsmouth, their efforts are led by a mixture of misleading propaganda and falsehoods spread by Tommy ‘ten names’ Robinson with extra thick rocket fuel courtesy of Reform UK’s divisive rhetoric.

Masked extremists attended in droves to “shut down” Dover port.

Mediocre Minions Fall for Yaxley-Lennon

Over the last two days, these funny-looking men with nothing better to do achieved, well, nothing. Well, that’s not fair — they did manage to synchronise their outfits and look fabulous in black for a group dressed by their mums, who, I might add, forgot to roll an enormous amount of lint off them.

Their involvement in such a strange and ephemeral action is misaligned. To turn up, ironically wearing niqabs, coked up out of their heads, is a misuse of both time and energy; some of it is comedic, as many appeared from the backs of trucks as if from nowhere, like doughnuts spilled onto concrete, or clones of Homer Simpson moronically bumping into each other.

Simple Minds, Simple Actions

Answering the piper’s call, enchanted by the very wizards whose spells direct their meagre brains, the wannabe ninjas hobble along like some comedy show. Yet, in their minds, they believe they look impressive. No, lads, this is beyond embarrassing — no wonder their faces are covered. I wouldn’t want to be seen in public either.

They did say that if the police “didn’t do anything”, they would be back. Which is funny because they didn’t achieve anything themselves, except a sense of malignant belonging. What next if refugees stop coming? Will they chew the sofa and piss up the wall? What these boys need is a crèche and some education because such gullibility doesn’t come from nowhere.
