With new footage released, the internet has once again gone into meltdown. But is it real?
New footage has emerged claiming to be further proof of extraterrestrial life on Earth by an anonymous YouTuber called “qtecqot“. The so-called evidence expands on pre-existing footage of the alien known as “Skinny Bob“, and builds on videos uploaded to the platform in 2011.
The Original Footage
Skinny Bob has long been part of an alleged alien cover-up, with internet users believing him to be a genuine extraterrestrial creature.The footage was originally uploaded to YouTube by a user named “ivan0135“. Videos from the channel showcase a range of wild scenarios, including crashed craft, a group of aliens walking in footage dubbed “Family Vacation“, and an interview with Bob himself.
New Footage Is Convincing Until…
On the 28th July, a statement was released on X (formerly Twitter), clarifying his relationship to ivan0135, saying: “I am not Ivan0135. I have not met him/her, but I have been in intermittent contact through electronic means as circumstances dictated. No contact since April of 2026. I am of Eastern European descent, but fluent in English. I am not suicidal. DMS in use, unlike 0135.” He then clarified that DMS means “dead man switch”. He then said: “I have been given access to less than 2% of the network’s cache of materials, with authorization to distribute. I have seen samples from the remainder. This is the “tame” stuff.”
Questionable Authenticity
The video appears to be credible, featuring a disc-shaped UFO in the sky with convincing reflections as it flies past a military aircraft, which most users believe can be identified as a Chinook.
It later depicts footage purportedly inside an alien craft, with the being known as “Bob” pointing to script that looks somewhat like hieroglyphics. We then cut to a clip where the so-called ET is being monitored in what appears to be a medical check-up, with his hands stretched out alongside a human hand for comparison.

It’s all intriguing until a pivotal moment. In one portion of the footage, inside the alleged Chinook, the shoulder of one person — who appears to be military personnel — quickly changes, and a coat then appears displaying his star ranking. Whether this convinces punters this is AI or not rests with the viewer.
Looking back at the original upload, it too looks computer-generated by a visual effects artist, owing to the unnaturally smooth movements of the hands and irregular patterns, such as when Bob blinks. However, so far, no one has come forward to claim responsibility, which has only fuelled further speculation about the footage’s true origin. What do you think?
