Jill Scott drops new visuals for “Norf Side”, featuring Tierra Whack from her latest album
Jill Scott bounces back with more visuals, this time for “Norf Side”. The single, taken from her latest album, To Whom It May Concern, features rapper Tierra Whack who is also riding a wave of momentum.
An Ode to North Philly
Featuring a wide gamut of colour and intermittent monochromatic shots, the video is a punchy high-contrast canvas.
The track, produced by the legendary DJ Premier, is an ode to North Philadelphia, and celebrates the duo’s connection with constant shout-outs over some delectable boom-bap beats.
Whack, who also just dropped her own video for “CANDLE WAX”, once again spits high-calibre bars alongside Scott, who equally delivers both rap and her signature vocals. The singer straight shoots and scores, no rim-rolls, just heat.
