New Joker figure looks great from the one pose we’ve seen
Having unveiled the new Joker (MAG C0005) figure, the details are all there, though some fans have questioned its presentation, with one very minor detail being the visible articulation pins. That’s forgivable, though they could have been masked with a fabric jacket instead. But that opens up one question: we still haven’t seen an articulation demo.
I’m sure this is all for a reason, but with pre-orders nearing, you’d expect to see a few videos of the extreme posing akin to Willem Dafoe. If it’s as good as the Arkham Origins figures, we’re in for a real treat.
Quality Work
INART are no doubt churning out some of the best Batman action figures. With a hefty price point, they’re certainly not cheap, but that’s something that goes out the window when you get one.
After months of dire quality in the McFarlane line and the cessation of its DC licence, I’d be lying if I said it will be missed. However, the new holder, Mattel, will produce some sloppy quality too. All this points to one conclusion: you get what you pay for, and the same goes for INART — either that, or I’m a figure snob (FYI, I’m a figure snob). I could be getting ahead of myself, but IA rarely misses.
