Lozano’s single “late night” builds towards upcoming EP titled #4a79b1

R&B/soul singer Ray Lozano’s latest track, “late night”, is a prelude to her upcoming EP, titled #4a79b1. The track, produced by the artist and longtime collaborator Samon Kawamura, is a soft yet transporting listen despite being a vehicle for self-sabotage; its tender instrumental illustrates the normalisation of tumultuous moments in life.

Her forthcoming EP, representative of the hex code for blue, symbolises a period of change in the singer’s life, one her label describes as a “blue for the moments in between”.

The singer wrote on Instagram: “This EP grew closer to me with every step of making it. Somewhere along the way, it became a companion. Quietly following me while I tried to figure out who I am right now, what I’m leaving behind, and what’s still taking shape.”

The new EP, #4a79b1, will be released via Melting Pot Music and is co-produced with Samon Kawamura. Ray Lozano will perform at Stadtgarten Köln on 26 October 2026.
