UK group formed of Sabrina, Alesha and Su-Elise finally split, though one claims she had no clue
A press release announcing Sabrina Washington’s 2027 solo tour revealed that R&B and pop leaning group, Mis-Teeq’s members had agreed to retire the idea of any more reunion performances. However, Su-Elise Nash quickly responded that it was news to her.
Surprise for one Mis-Teeq Member
The alleged split comes just days after the group’s sold-out 25th anniversary show at the OVO Arena in Wembley.
In a statement on Instagram, Nash said: “As far as I was aware, today was our deadline to make a decision on some incredible Mis-Teeq offers for 2027…”, and later clarified that this included headlining a major UK festival, as well as “performing at another huge UK festival and potentially taking the show regional for everyone who couldn’t make Wembley.”
Sabrina told UK tabloid The Sun: “We got to come back 25 years later, perform together again and finish with a sold-out Wembley show.” The important detail is, there are currently no more shows planned for 2027, despite Washington claiming she “wasn’t ready for the celebration to end there.”
Prominent member Alesha Dixon has yet to respond to the news, though the conversation seems difficult to untangle. Many have pointed to the fact this could be a miscommunication, though it appears difficult to correct.
