Israeli Prime Minister denies the accusations, but the International Criminal Court hold evidence.

ICC issues documents to detain the Israeli PM.

The International Criminal Court (ICC) has issued arrest warrants for Prime Minister Netanyahu and Yoav Gallant, Israel’s former defence minister.

Israel strongly contests the accusations and claims it always acts within international law.

The court’s chief prosecutor, Karim Khan, initially requested the documents to authorise the arrest in May. The crimes he stands accused of include using starvation as a weapon of war and targeted attacks against a civilian population.

Also included in the order is Muhammed Dief, Hamas’s chief military officer who is accused of several violations of international law, including hostage-taking.

Netanyahu reacts to the arrest warrant.

This announcement follows yesterday’s attack on Khan Younis, where several Palestinians died as a result of a Tel Aviv sanctioned bombing. More than 17,500 children have been killed as a consequence of Israel’s assault on Gaza.
