Ez Mil Featuring Eminem – ‘Realest’ Is Another Cringe Pot of Entitlement | Music Reviews

Hip-Hop? Or just another Eminem clone supporting his hero?

Continuing his hiatus with the occasional appearance here and there, Eminem falters on his reemergence once more having signed rapper Ez Mil to Shady Records along with Dr Dre to Aftermath.

But what’s in store for their new artist? It appears to be not much is on the cards when considering the wildly underwhelming track he just released titled Realest, where Slimshady takes pot shots at Gen Z and Ez attempts to emulate his mentor through a basket of varied flows.

But what’s on show here is just another yawn for Slim, who still cries about the fact he is white, and claims it is to his detriment.

But let’s get one thing straight, Eminem had his day, failing to progress past the Marshall Mathers LP. Other rappers have been found to be far superior to Em’s catalogue of one trick pony rhymes, where he regurgitates his folly of anti-pop music whilst becoming one with the genre himself.

Rapping at high speeds, as if to claim this trait will cement his status fails to yield any applause when considering Eminem’s farmyard of corny puns.

Unable to accept that a new generation of rappers are here, Ez Mil picked the wrong partner to record with. He fails to show up, and the remedy of the situation he has got himself into by signing with the bygone artist will only serve to bury his career faster than you can say – it has been done before.

While Ez shows promise, his prior work before this shows up more. But then again, this is just his first outing on Shady/Aftermath. Here’s hoping for better.
