The Pokémon Company and Casio collaborate on a new G-Shock watch for the video game’s 30th Anniversary
The 30th Anniversary Pokémon celebrations continue with another collaboration. Casio has teamed up with The Pokémon Company to produce another item of merchandise: the G-Shock Analogue Digital GA-110PKM-7A watch.
What You Need To Know
In every element, the new G-Shock timepiece embodies the colourways of the traditional Pokémon style, with a motif fitting of the franchise. The hands are decorated in the traditional red, blue, and green colours, which trainers will be familiar with from the original 1996 release. The blend of digital and analogue is a nice touch, illustrating just how important the brand is and how it has transcended eras to remain relevant today. This is paired with the classic unobtrusive monochromatic logo on the right, making it suitable for both childhood chasers and contemporary players.

Band Design
The band design features 30 different Pokémon, three from each region, such as Kanto, Johto, and Hoenn. That means appearances from fan favourites Rowlet, Litten, Chimchar, and, of course, the original three: Bulbasaur, Charmander, and Squirtle. Pikachu, Eevee, and Mew also appear on the strap, making this a nostalgic wearable to keep you busy.
Dial & Watch Face Details
Every detail on the watch is a muted and sometimes not-so-subtle nod to every facet of the game, including the Poké Ball, which sits on the 9 o’clock side, with an indicator hand shaped like our furry yellow friend, Pikachu.
Engraved Case Back Design
Flipping the watch over reveals the case back engraved with a unique Pokémon logo, once again shaped like our electric-type friend, with the number 30 representing each side of his cheek. The packaging is what really ties the item together nicely, with the wristwatch packaged in a Poké Ball surrounded by iconic characters from the video game printed all around.
