Anson Boon is kept in a trap in shocking new film from Jan Komasa
Stephen Graham is beginning to pour gasoline on the enormous career fire he has started. Having won distinguished awards, it comes as no surprise that he is set to star in what appears to be another trophy-winning performance. His new film “Heel” (formerly known as The Good Boy) is set to be released this spring.
‘Heel’: The Plot
The film follows Tommy, a 19-year-old criminal who is kidnapped and forced to rehabilitate in the home of couple, Chris and Kathryn. Their hope? Turn him into a “good boy”, despite repeated escape attempts.
Production and Cast
The couple is played by Stephen Graham, Andrea Riseborough, while Anson Boon plays “Tommy”. Austin Haynes, Kit Rakusen, Savannah Steyn, and Callum Booth-Ford lend their talents as supporting characters.
The film is directed by Jan Komasa (Warsaw ‘44) and is written by Bartek Bartosik and Naqqash Khalid.
Release Date
“Heel” is set to be released on the 20th March 2026 with a runtime of 1 hour 50 minutes. The film is a joint Polish and British production by Recorded Picture Company and Skopia Film, and will be distributed by Magnolia Pictures.
