Watch: FLO slap down new music ‘Fly Girl’ featuring Missy Elliott

Impressive new R&B song from the UK based girl band sounds as fly as it looks.

They’ve been on the rise for some time now, making noise that has reverberated around the country. FLO, who comprise of Renée Downer, Stella Quaresma, and Jorja Douglas, are fast becoming a house hold name, reinvigorating the late 90s/early 00s sound along with the marketing tricks and aesthetics employed to give artist’s the nudge they need.

A glossy high-contrast look punches their sound into a glitzy presentation, cultivating good energy and feel-good vibes.

In a press release, the band said of their new track: “It’s a lively, feel-good song that still incorporates clever lyrics and fire vocals, if we do say so ourselves.”

“It’s quite literally a perfect fusion of old-school meets modern-day R&B, with a nod to and feature from the original fly girl Missy Elliott herself.”

Consider how far they have come in such a short space of time, and now they have a feature with Missy Elliot? I think it is time you jumped on the FLO train.
