Newly released Epstein files release names rappers Jay-Z and Pusha T. Here’s what the documents say

More than 3 million new documents have been released from the Epstein files, and already it’s causing a furore. Two names that appeared in the files include Pusha T and Jay-Z. What are they alleged to have done? Here are the facts.
What You Need to Know
According to FBI intake reports, both rappers appear in the documents, though in unverified records, not Jeffrey Epstein’s own flight logs. These stem from unverified tips from 2019, and no charges have been filed. However, the two artists are mentioned in uncorroborated anonymous tip data which includes:
- One caller claimed to have been at an Epstein-linked location, with notable figures, including Jay-Z (named as Shawn Carter)
- Another caller alleged they were drugged at a party and said Pusha T was present.

For context, the following details are from the FBI files:
“In approximately 1996, [redacted] resided with [redacted] in [redacted]. An unknown man abducted [redacted] from her home whence she later awoke in the presence of Harvey Weinstein and Shawn Carter (Jay‑Z) while Weinstein had inserted his fingers into [redacted]. [Redacted] believes she was in Epstein’s mansion in Florida.”
“[Redacted] attributed the drugging as frequently performed by persons assigned as handlers … Among her handlers, [redacted] identified the artist Pusha T.”
Unverified Tips
Each call claims the two rappers were present but stop short of making accusations. No evidence of wrongdoing has been brought to the attention of law enforcement.

Considering the tips were recorded in 2019, there is some ambiguity, and no concrete timestamp exists. This is not to suggest that they did or didn’t do anything.
Another notable detail is that the two were named at a time when Pusha T was largely unknown and in his late teens, while Jay-Z had just released his debut album.
