In an interview, Nasty Nas hints that conversations are taking place about a part two of the Legend Has It… series in London.
Nas is a busy man. With a strong focus on the Legend Has it… series, he’s also teeing up his own album with DJ Premier — something many believed would never happen. All the signs are there, and it wasn’t until the duo dropped “Define my Name“, that we all got a glimpse of its potential sound. But something else has come to our attention — it sounds like conversations are being had regarding a second part of Mass Appeal’s project.
Legend Has It Part 2: London
When asked to comment on a follow up to the Legend Has It… series, it seems conversations have taken place about London. When asked about a follow up by journalist Andre Gee, he said:
“A lot of people are asking, “What’s next year?” There’s a lot of suggestions: Do the south, do the west, do London, do this, but it has to be natural”.

A recent collaboration with Slick Rick and Idris Elba makes the prospect of a UK collaboration more likely. However, that doesn’t mean he won’t explore more of the US first, though there’s plenty of talent to explore across the British Isles.
Who Could Feature
The talentpool in the UK rap scene is rich, with rappers like Loyle Carner, Little Simz, and Verbz coming to mind first. But with names such as Roots Manuva, Akala, Jehst, Ghetts, and underground legends Triple Darkness — known for rappers like M9, Iron Braydz, and Cyrus Malachi — there’s a candy store of lyricists to choose from.
Update on DJ Premier Album
Nas also gave an update on this forthcoming album with DJ Premier, saying at least “two tracks” from archival recording sessions will feature.
He excitedly exclaims: “I can’t wait for people to finally hear it. I don’t know about anybody else, but for me and him, it was personally a long time coming for us to do it”.
The exchange was part of a Rolling Stone interview, where the Illmatic rapper also shared plans for a limited run comic book series which is set to release December 10th 2025.
