Rapper goes for the creative jugular with a new music video directed by A$AP Rocky and Arnaud Deroudilhe
A$AP Rocky is back after a few days with another track from Don’t Be Dumb, Disc 2, titled “SWAT TEAM”, as he taps into a style with influences from several cinematic takes. The video is directed by both him and Arnaud Deroudilhe.
The track, Mayers says, is about his experiences with the justice system, while the imagery interprets his run-ins with the law before depicting him overpowering law enforcement.
He told Complex last week: “This is just me subliminally telling stories about what I’ve been going through in the past recent years and sh*t like that.”
