Nas & Hit-Boy have been busy these last few years, dropping album after album full of quality and legendary Hip-Hop sounds. This time though, it’s not King’s Disease.
The duo have surprised fans again with yet another project following the release of a superabundance of albums which include the King’s Disease trilogy. The wordsmith and beat-maker are in staggering form, but this time, their directorship signals another sequel in the form of Magic 2.
Nas‘ first instalment of the KD anthology won him a Grammy, with the rest of the saga receiving global acclaim, noted for its production value and wordplay.
When is Magic 2 dropping?
Not only has Nasty Nas unveiled the album, but the rapper also dropped the artwork and release date revealing it to be arriving later this week Friday 21st.
Who is featured on the new album?
Considering it is a surprise release, not much was known about it except that 50 Cent expressed his satisfaction with a feature on the new album by saying: “Y’all ain’t heard me in a minute, Nas felt like it was time so it’s done. Check us out Friday – Magic 2, Boom.”
Both artists are natives of Queensbridge, New York and haven’t collaborated in over 20 years. The last time the pair recorded together was in 2002 on 50’s mixtape Guess Who’s Back?
However, Nas has now dropped the track list and we now know 21 Savage is the only other feature on the project:
