Flatbush Zombie founder and soloist, Erick The Architect (Erick Elliot) stomps back into the frame with a fresh, upbeat video for “No Doubt (I’m In Love)”. Filmed in Jamaica, the new visuals complement the music as we watch raw footage of Erick spitting into the camera, as travellers traverse Kingston on motorcycles and the rapper meets locals.
“No Doubt” samples “I Am In Love”, an early-1980s Studio One record by Jennifer Lara. In a full circle moment, Elliot chose to shoot the visuals in Kingston, where the track was originally recorded. A road trip-worthy addition to a travelling soundtrack, Erick The Architect is once again on his game as he repeats his notable talent for production. This time, he shows his range through a broad palette of musical influences and knack for historical curation. As he dives headfirst into a colourful beat, his talent for rap also comes along for the ride.
